Slight Disappointment

Mon Mar 23, 2009, 7:47 PM
We ordered some prints on March 9th and they're still "In Process" . . . We'd hoped to get them and then matte them for a silent auction this past weekend -- to raise money for local graduate students. We even did the overnight-shipping option, though I certainly didn't expect the prints to literally be "overnight". I understand it takes a little while to actually print them and then to ship them, but two weeks? So much for the silent auction gig. They didn't get here in time. And they still haven't even shipped yet, two weeks after I placed the original order.

What's up with this? Does it usually take dArt this long to get prints out the door?

Thanks for the watch on Devart too! :)
You've got more stuff here than on flickr, good to see.

Heya ~~

Thanks for tracking back! We're finishing up the semester right now (I teach at UAA) and I'm looking forward to diving into dArt over the summer. I keep not having time! (Damn you, reality!)

Anyhow, I wish I could make it back to OK over the summer, but will be hitting Florida. Looking forward to a rich summer of photography.

I actually went to OU (English/Modernity & Theory grad program) and miss the Wichitas terribly. Love that corner of the state. And my oh my, Cherry Creek and the Canadian River basin. Lots of memories down there, romping with the Nerodia rhombifers!

I'll be drinking your photos up this summer! You know, since there aren't many snakes in southcentral Alaska... Heh. (But we do have wood frogs!)

Haha I bet there aren't loads of snakes. I grew up in WI and there were about 5 species around most of the time!

I still haven't made it out to the Wichitas :( but my roommate was there recently and loved it. That's the next goal, my girlfriend wants to take a trip there too. I'd also love to hit up Turner falls soon.

I bet Alaska makes up for the lack of herps in scenery and isolation though. I get tired of being around so many people in Norman!
